Are the effects of items cumulative? For instance, if I have 2 emerald amulets that give 7% XP each, do I get 14% XP?

If you get the very useful (IMO) molten rings, they'll only reduce the blacksmith cost on the character they're equipped on. So you'll have to switch it between your different characters as you upgrade them. it's a bit tedious but worth the time. with 4 rings you got 80% off
